KAYLA ROBINSON
Kayla Robinson is an accomplished director and storyteller from San Antonio, TX, whose work centers character-driven stories exploring identity, grief and connection. Her short film Ball is Ball was praised for its honest portrayal of PTSD and acquired by AspireTV, while her documentary Quilted Education premiered nationally on PBS’ award-winning series Reel South and was shortlisted at the 2024 Sony Future Filmmaker Awards. A former ad-woman, Kayla brings creative and strategic expertise honed through collaborations with brands like Apple, Google and P&G.

Tony Gapastione is a writer, director, producer, and SAG-AFTRA actor working between the Bay Area and Los Angeles. He’s the founder of BraveMaker—a production company, film festival, academy, and podcast dedicated to amplifying brave stories for justice, diversity, and inclusion. With three feature films produced, Tony is passionate about working hard, dreaming big, and turning vision into action—not just talking about it. He’s known for creating safer, braver, and more inclusive communities where filmmakers, actors, and storytellers of all kinds can truly belong.

MICHAELA P. SHELTON
Michaela P. Shelton is a Bay Area filmmaker, actress, and writer from San Leandro, California. She is best known as the creator of Reckless Behavior: The Series, a series that explores the complexities of being a millennial in the Bay Area and is currently streaming on Tubi and Amazon Prime. The series has garnered praise for its authenticity and relatability. Michaela has successfully produced three seasons of the show, showcasing her ability to connect with diverse audiences while highlighting underrepresented voices.

TRISTAN J SHULER
Tristan J Shuler is a bicoastal writer/actor/director who has coached dozens of writers and actors towards selling scripts to the likes of Hallmark, Tubi, & Amazon and booking roles on AppleTV+, BET, ABC, Broadway, National Tours, and more. He's directed a handful of Tony and Emmy-winning actors in his time developing new works for the stage, and after being featured in YesBroadway's 40 Under 40 alongside Oscar-winner Ariana DeBose and Tony-winners Adrienne Warren & Alex Newell, Tristan J went on to coach emerging writers towards landing literary representation as a pitching consultant and Director of Brand Management & Partnerships at Roadmap Writers, executive assistant at Bohemia Group Entertainment, and later as Head of Marketing at Next-Level Scribe. Now, Tristan J works as the Head of Narrative at Licorice Eclipse, a production entity dedicated to bringing stories to life at the intersection of Blackness and queerness.

Her recent work includes award-winning short films that have premiered at festivals and sparked meaningful conversations on culture, resilience, and identity.

Stacie McClam is a filmmaker, author, former educator who founded a film production company, School Dismissed, which focuses on K-12 public education issues and solutions. Stacie wrote, produced, and directed a trilogy of narrative fiction feature-length films that focus on the use of AI in elementary, middle, and high schools. She is in her fifth year of production for a feature-length documentary about an Ohio mom who was jailed for falsifying documents to enroll her daughters into her father's school district.

The short films he makes mainly focuses on the human experiences of having a disability, but also makes stories that doesn’t involve disability as well. As the creative force behind the hit podcast Full Kre8tive CTRL and founder of CineCTRL Media and TDMG Studios, Broughton continues to shape the Bay Area’s visual culture through bold, cinematic storytelling. With multiple festival-recognized short films and a growing digital presence, he remains driven by one mission: to share meaningful stories with the world, one frame at a time.

Richard Squeri is an award-winning Stunt and Intimacy Coordinator;Fight Director; Producer; Director; Actor; & Writer of Screen and Stage. He is a ‘Master-fabricator’ of specialty prop and weapon fabrication as well as “Practical-Special Effects”. As a Stunt and Stage Combat Instructor, he has 40+ years of experience and a record of safety. His work has appeared in every media genre, he is also a 17+year, faculty member of “East Bay Center for the Performing Arts” and the ‘Gogy’ of The Art & Practice of Flowing Dragon Swords founded in 1989.
